Sinbad Charters N.V. established in 1989, began operation with the "Denni Lou", a trawler converted into a charter vessel, authorized to carry 150 passengers and an 8 man crew. The focus was on providing nighttime entertainment with a dance floor, crew shows, a dinner menu and a $1, $2 and $3 bar. Growth of the company and development of Aruba's tourism offered opportunity to purchase an operate a larger vessel.
